Two new films for 4/23

April 21, 2010

Hey members!  As you already know, the preview screening of The Joneses is all set up for Thursday, 4/22.  We hope you remembered to RSVP for your free tickets!

As for the general public, you can see The Joneses starting Friday 4/23, at Cherrydale cinema.

Also starting Friday is a good, old fashioned tear-jerker: The Yellow Handkerchief.  Starring William Hurt and Maria Bello, the film follows a rag-tag trio of lonley-hearts as they road trip it across America to meet their respective destinies.

For those we’ll be seeing at the preview screening, be sure to visit the UFS table outside the theater, and pick up your tickets.

For everyone else, have a great weekend, and see you at the movies!

TWO new films for 4/16

April 15, 2010

Don’t forget to write in and RSVP for our exclusive preview screening of The Joneses, next Thursday April 22nd!  Tickets are FREE for those who reserve them, so check your email and follow up!

We’ve got two new films starting Friday 4/16, @ Cherrydale cinemas.

First up is A Prophet, a gritty prison drama currently knocking the critics on their collective keisters.  The story follows a teenage convict as he mentally muscles his way up from jail-yard rag doll, to Corsican mafia infiltrate and independent mastermind.  A must watch!

The other is an underdog baseball heart-warmer, The Perfect Game.  Essentially, it’s a 50’s period Mexican Bad News Bears, meets kiddie Bull Durham.

The Runaways starts 4/9

April 11, 2010

We’ve got a saucy rock ‘n roll biopic for you this week, as The Runaways starts exclusively at Cherrydale on Friday, 4/9.  The film follows rebel teenager Cherie Curry (played by Dakota Fanning) as she goes from high school talent shows, to fronting one of the most influential proto-riot grrrl bands of all time.

Thanks for your support, and see you there!

Update for April 9

April 9, 2010

Hello fellow filmgoers.  Hope you all got a chance to see “The White Ribbon” before it closed. Not much to report this week. No new films at either Regal Cherrydale or Regal Westgate Mall Cinemas. “Chloe” is the only indie currently screening at the Westgate mall location. Please check with that theater for times.

We do anticipate the arrival of two interesting films next Friday, April 16. So stay tuned and we’ll have some info for you soon.

Thanks for your continued support!
