Fear not – Upstate Film Society’s Spring 2009 Film Fest is coming! It took a while but we have a deal with the Regal Cinemas to continue our precious Indie Film Series.  We were too late to get it done for Fall 2008 but we have an arrangement for the Spring 2009 Series and going forward from there.  It’s not that Regal Cinemas has not been cooperative but with the transition of the Cherrydale ownership and a huge flood of new film releases in the Upstate this fall, the timing for the approval process has been difficult for them.  Ultimately they came through.

Join the UFS mailing list to be among the first to be notified when the lineup and dates of films are announced.

Each Indie Film Series will be as we have experienced in the past, which includes four weeks, with one film per week, for a total of four films per series.

The films will run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week of the series running twice daily (4:30 and 7:00 pm).

If you have suggestions regarding films to be chosen for the Spring series please respond through our website at  wordpress.upstatefilm.com. We look forward to hearing from you.  The Board will be picking the films in early January.
